OMNILUX LED LIGHT THERAPY
Omnixlux LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that utilises LED technology to promote skin rejuvenation and healing. It involves the application of specific wavelengths of light to the skin, which are absorbed by cells to stimulate various biological processes.
The Healite LED device emits light at different wavelengths, including blue, yellow, and red light, each with its own unique benefits. Blue light targets acne-causing bacteria, helping to reduce breakouts and improve overall skin clarity. Yellow light promotes collagen production and can help reduce redness and inflammation, making it beneficial for individuals with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin. Red light penetrates deeper into the skin, stimulating cellular activity, promoting circulation, and enhancing the skin's natural healing process. PROCEDURE
Before undergoing Omnilux LED Light Therapy treatment at Norwest Cosmetic Surgery, you will have a comprehensive consultation with one of our Dermal Therapists, Registered Nurses or Doctors. During this consultation, your practitioner will explain the treatment, its mechanics, benefits, costs, as well as potential risks, complications, and the recovery process. You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and desired outcomes with your practitioner and your practitioner will devise a customised treatment plan that suits you best.
The practitioner will take measures to ensure your comfort while lying down prior to applying the healite over the area.
Following the treatment, the practitioner will finish off your treatment with post-treatment instructions and schedule your next appointment. We recommend a series of 8 treatments, 2 a week for four weeks.
RISKS, COMPLICATIONS & RECOVERY
Following your LED appointment you will need to:
Follow any post operative care instructions provided by the clinic and attend scheduled appointments.
Remain Hydrated.
Avoid direct sunlight on the treated area.
